Zone changes apply right away to run guides, the suggested workout, chart target lines and zone tags. Resting and max HR apply when you save settings.
Paces on the Run types cards come from the faster of this estimate and your best 5K in that period, so they speed up as you get fitter. A slow 5K on a bad day won't slow them down.
The type pages default to these speeds, and you can switch to any speed you have logged.
After each workout, the review suggests one step at a time: the last set goes up first, then the set before it. You set the size of each exercise's step when you create or edit it.
